You will be glad you prepared a First-Aid Kit prior to an emergency when it actually hits.  It will be so important to treat injuries quickly and cleanly to prevent further injury or infection.  You might consider having CERT training or other kind of First Aid training to know the proper steps to take and build your confidence.  In our area you will find The CPR School, Portneuf Medical Center Community Education and the American Red Cross.  Like the Boy Scout motto:  BE PREPARED!
