GREAT DEPRESSION ERA HABITS







1.  Make a loaf of bread daily.  (sourdough)

2.  Save everything - Be frugal

3.  Grow a garden.  Forage for food

4.  Keep chickens

5.  Buy and cook in bulk.  Keep meals simple

6.  Get organized.

        Take are of the things you have

        Have a place for everything and everything in it's place.  When you need something you          know where it is.

7.  Fix it!  Don't throw away.  Learn new skills

8.  Preserve food.  Educate yourself.  Store properly.

9.  Be content!  Be grateful!

10  Use homemade cleaning products

        Baking soda and vinegar.  Be cautious about their use.

11.  Limit energy use.
